SDCA Special Meeting is being called for March 3rd, 2024 to discuss amending the 2023 vote to “change the time controls for all SDCA sponsored events – other than the Scholastic tournaments – to Game 90 / increment 30 starting in 2024” to be more restrictive to Titled SDCA sponsored events that would fall in the Classical time control category. Motion made by Jordan Esmay to “exempt the Sioux Falls Open from the G/90+30 time control for 2024” Gary 2nd. Motion passed with unanimous vote of those present.
